700 Permissions

Some weird things have been happening with my DNS-323.  I seem to have most of it figured out now, but I have two files (1 Word and 1 Excel) that have owner "nobody" and 700 permissions.  How do I log on as "nobody" to change the permissions or is there another way to me to change this or the ownership?

Thanks.

Re: 700 Permissions

The root user can change them, and you can also use the chown command to change the owner.

Re: 700 Permissions

Perfect thanks.  Took me a bit to figure out how to telnet in and such, but have it all working.
