Hi There,
Like many other people on these boards, I have noticed many of the following warnings in my message logs:
EXT2-fs warning: mounting unchecked fs, running e2fsck is recommended
In an attempt to rectify the situation, I have sifted through various postings (and the wiki) and have come to the conclusion that 3 options are available. They are:
1. Install and run Cleanboot
2. Load ffp from a USB key (using information from this post http://dns323.kood.org/forum/t3203-setu … -root.html)
3. Do both 1 and 2
My question is:
-----------------
If I load ffp from a USB key do I really need to run cleanboot?
Also, in the post (mentioned in option #2) it talks about rebooting the kernel from the USB key... is this necessary? and why would you want to do this?
Finally, what are some of the piftalls of running ffp from a USB key/disc?
Thanks.
