Dear all,
I have 2 main issue with a dns 323, wireless:
1. I lose connection ti it from time to time(path not valie, rebbot wireless router: problem solved) from an xp pro laptop
2. I cannot configure the dns anymore as my password is not accepted
3. My other laptop (vista) saw the drive and use to access is easily but now do not see it.

1. Most likely a router problem as a reboot fixes it. If the DNS-323 was at fault a router restart would not affect the situation.
2. Reset the DNS-323 using the reset 'button' on the back, the username/password will be reset to admin/<blank>
3. This is the same as problem number 1.

Thank you very much for your response. i have looked into the reset option. My question is: if i reset it, the un and password will be reset to original but it will be also the case for all the setting. As I have data on the hd's and have it set up as raid 2, would the reset alter this and potentially earase the hd's? How do i make sure it stays in raid2?

Ok, months late I know, but the reset button doesn't wipe your data, just the password/username. Whether this will cause difficulties with your RAID setup I don't know, but it won't actually delete any data.
