Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Apologies in advance for the Noob question, I just set up a DNS323 with mirrored 1GB Seagate drives. It replaces a Maxtor 500GB NAS that died. On the Maxtor I had some folders that were secure to certain users (I set up the user names and passwords to match what is used on my W2003 domain.) and another called 'Public' that had no security restrictions on it. Anyone or anything (Including my Squeezebox duet) could access it. Seems like a crazy question but using the v1.6 GUI how do I create a public folder and have Network access set to a kind of 'No Security'? The Network Access Settings area either wants Users or Groups .... what about neither ?

Bump - Have set user accounts for everyone as a workaround - Does Fun plug allow this?

The right hand side of the interface says:
"Helpful Hints..
By default, each hard drive or volume will have an open-access rule. These rules must be deleted before user or group specific rules can be created."
I recall deleting this open-access rule but in effect want to put it back for a folder. Is this possible?
