Confused with HD_a2 / HD_a4 / Volume_1 / Volume_2

Hi, seems that I can't find any information about this, can anyone clear me up what are the differences and which one is which please?

Right bay = HD_a2 / Volume_2
Left bay = HD_a4 / Volume_1

Is that right?

Right bay = HD_a2 (Volume_1)
Left bay -= HD_b2 (Volume_2)

HD_a4 is a mounting point for a config partition on the first hard drive. It is a file location that will tell your NAS about the configuration of the drive..
That's what I understood when I was struggling with the same question!
