Windows NFS Client for DNS-321/323 UNFS3?

I installed the user-space NFS server (unfsd) on my DNS-321 box under funplug-0.5. I can successfully connect to it from my ubuntu box and my Popcorn Hour NMT A-110 box. However, I'd like access the NFS server from my WinXP machine. I've tried ProNFS/nfsAxe, the free NFS Client from MKS (using its mount.exe) and the "Windows Services for Unix" NFS client. I have no luck with either of them.
After some debugging and tcpdump'ing, I've noticed that all these clients are sending READDIRPLUS NfsV3 requests that the unfs3 cannot support:

...
UNFS3 supports all NFSv3 procedures with the exception of the READDIRPLUS procedure. It tries to provide as much information to NFS clients as possible, within the limits possible from user-space.
...

Clients like the free NFS Client from "Windows Services for Unix" and the one from MKS bombards the DNS-321/323 with READDIRPLUS requests. Consequently, the unfsd process consumes all available CPU. Unfortunately, all aforementioned clients have no capability of disabling this request similar to the option -o nordirplus available in RedHat.

Alternatively I could try using the kernel-level nfsd, but it seems to requiring compiling our own kernel. I'd like to avoid that if possible.

So.... has anyone encountered the same problem? Any suggestions on making my WinXP box talk NFS with my DNS-321?

Thanks.
