Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I have two 500gb drives in my DNS-323, in a RAID 1 configuration.
I want to remove one of the drives, can I do this? One thought was to remove a drive and reset the device, and have it restart in single-drive mode. But according to this it might not work.

Has anyone tried removing a drive and stopping using a RAID 1 setup?

Thank you.
I have telnet access to the box via fun_plug but have no extra software installed apart from Firefly. I don't have a specific "funplug release" installed.
This should still work though as long as mdadm is a built in command.
