When I added 2 more DNS-323 to my network the trouble began.
I set up my LAN as Gigabit with Jumbo Frame 4K enabled.
I have many NAS boxes but I had good luck with my first DNS-323. I bought 2 more and added them to the network.
Now I see 3 @ DNS-323 on the network. Using Windows XP there is no problem I can reachout and touch each one separately and access the volumes on each DNS.
However under Windows Vista I see 3 DNS boxes but when I go into network and click on each one I only access the SAME DNS bos (SAME IP, SAME VOLUME) every time.
I have tried rebooting the computers on the network. Turning all of them off except one desktop or laptop. I turn off all but one DNS and then INSTALL the UPNP for that one. This allows me to access that DNS-323 box.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to why this is happening.
If the answer for this is already here I apologize for repeating this question. I did look and so far have not found this problem on line. I tried D-Link Tech support and so far it has not worked.
Thanks!

Are you still unable to access the DNS by using the IP, eg \\192.168.x.x\Volume_1

That does work. However I would very much like to under stand why the easy Search Utility does not work. I have downloaded and tried 4.4.0.0, it does not find the drives. It works just fine on my XP computers.
When I open Network I should be able to get to each of my drives. I have many Buffalo Technologies NAS boxes and they all work fine. The only NAS I have with problems are the DNS-323.
Any Ideas?
My primary problem is that when I double click on any of the DNS-323 icons I open a window for the SAME NAS every time with the same volume. If I re-install the UPNP from windows for the DNS-323 it changes the DNS NAS I open and then all 3 DNS-323 icons open that DNS.
Seems very strange that this only happens under Vista, I realize that Vista is the culprit, I just want to find a way to correct this issue.
Thanks!

Are there two distinct problems being addressed here? One with EasySearch and the other with Vista showing the same NAS for all three icons?
If so, your EasySearch problem is likely to be firewall (or AV) related - anything that blocks the application itself or the network broadcasts that it uses to find the units.

It could be something to do with the router.
Easy search utility didn't work for me too when I was using Aztech (Modem & Wireless G). I upgraded to Belkin Modem & Wireless N+ (it had an annoying problem), and just a few hours ago I traded it with Aztech Modem & Wireless N
Anyway now I can use the Easy Search utility to detect my DNS, I can also connect to the DNS using the computer name (eg \\dlinkdns\Volume_1) where previously I could only connect to it using IP.
