Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Okay, I've decided to make a few things clear to the people that own this device, since there isn't much input about it (if whether or not it works with fun_plug, etc...)
I can guarantee that it does, since I managed to install fun_plug and play around with some of its features without really knowing much about linux and its commands, all you have to do is follow the guide for the DNS-323 properly and it will all be good.
Right now I have Telnet disabled and SSH on.
After enabling SSH, the only thing I wanted to do with my NAS was to use it to download stuff via the BitTorrent protocol and for that I used KyleK's guide and installed the latest version of Transmission he compiled (Version 1.5 I think), after a little bit of playing with its configuration settings I managed to make it work (as you can see in the following picture.)
So basically if you want to use your DNS-321 just to download stuff, it should work well and as I know that there aren't much topics about this I felt necessary to prove that it does work for all those 321 owners out there.
Here are the stats of my 321 when using transmission.
If anyone wants to ask me questions, feel free to post here.

the dns-321 is great.
i have it running ssh, transmission, ftp, mediatomb, firefly, lighttpd, php, and mysql.
if youd like to see a dns-321 running a website, feel free to stop by my phpBB3 forum. if there are no current users youll notice the page takes a second to load. the delay comes from the hard drivve spinning up from idle.
