I guess he wants to wake up the DNS. That is not possible.

Does the DNS-323 have a sleep state?

I thought the device only has on and off, but each drive has the usual (S)ATA power states.     Is there a device sleep I don't know about?

We were told that DNS-323 hardware does not support WOL.
