Power Glitch

My client experienced a brief power failure.  This morning she could not log onto Outlook.

Her network drive was disconnected, I reset her password and all is fine now.

Curious why this password problem would occur.  Also, has anyone experienced missing email messages in Outlook?

Thanks!

Re: Power Glitch

I cannot help as to why the password problem would occur, but I can tell you that we had a brief power failure over here a couple months back and one of the computers 'forgot' a good 60% of the passwords that had been memorized by IE. This was on Windows Vista. It's probably just a Windows thing.

I don't use Outlook, but I have read that the PST database files used by Outlook to store emails can be very delicate and pronte to corruption if they are allowed to get too large.
