Greetings, all genius DNS-323 hackers,
I've some interesting idea for you, the DNS-323 has an USB-port which is stated that only for printer use, however from your DNS-323 hacking site I realize that It can be used to mount USB harddrive and transfer data from/in to it as well by doing some hackings.
I then raised up an idea in my mind that whether the DNS-323 can work with USB 3G mobile broadband modem, I've been searching through internet but what i got is that 3G mobile broadband can also be used in Linux on desktop/laptop provided that it has kernel (2.6.20) and wvdial (check resource: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huawei_E22 … ng_systems ), but i am not sure whether the USB 3G mobile broadband modem can be used on Linux powered DNS-323.
To think that by simply plugging a USB 3G mobile broadband modem, and then the DNS-323 will connect to internet wireless-ly and it will be keep downloading stuff for you without connecting to a router, isn't that a great idea?
Please have a discussion for this interesting idea, any reply is very much appreciated.
