Sync Time Remaining: Degraded

My DNS-323 work flawlessly for about a year in RAID 1 with two 750 Gb. Since a couple of days, I noticed that the array is degraded (only one LED blinking, the other one is solid green).

What is causing it to be degraded ? Could it be a physical problem or just a software problem ?

I'm planning to back everything up on a US B drive before trying to rebuild the array, but I'm just wondering what caused it to be degraded. Any idea ??

I'm not familiar with any script/linux at all, I'm only using it stock.

Thanks

Re: Sync Time Remaining: Degraded

Try running the hard drive manufacture's disk diagnostics on the suspect drive
(after you backup your data, of course) to determine if the problem is physical.
