Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Tried to install ffp 0.5.
- Copied fun_plug & fun_plug.tgz to Volume_1
- restarted
- nothing happens, telnet doesn't work (no ffp folder, and fun_plug.tgz still exists)
To answer some questions:
- DNS-323, FW 1.06
- single Seagate 7200.11 500GB
- the files are spelled correctly on the drive (no extension on fun_plug)
I originally had the HD on the right bay, but got a pink-LED problem and switched it over to the left bay. I've switched it back to the right bay, and the status page on the web admin shows Volume_1, and my hard drive under slot 1.
Any ideas?

The solution was so simple I overlooked it. Had to set execute permissions on the file (chmod).
I actually thought of this solution initially, but after searching the forums for an hour and noone else mentioning permissions issues, I figured it had to be something more complicated.
