How do I change the Administrator username in the Web GUI?

I can change the password, obviously, but it won't let me change the "User Name".  I'm using firmware 1.03.  Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to set it to the same username/password I use for Windows.  Having all sorts of problems mapping the drive.  Keep getting user/pass prompts and nothing ever works.  Windows Vista.

AFAIK the 1.03 firmware is not vista compatible yet. Vista changed a lot with networking/mapping.

Regarding SMB network shares and Vista have a look here: http://www.scalefree.info/2006/09/vista … ation.html

Use #2 for Vista Home, #1 should work for Vista Business.

"If for some reason your “secpol.msc” refuse to work, you can manually change a setting in the Windows registery.
1- Go in the “Execute command window” and type “regedit” and press “OK”, it will pop the Windows registery window.
2- Browse the this key: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\” and change the value for the option “LMCompatibilityLevel” from value 3 to a value 1."

Well, was a bit confusing i guess:

#1 is: secpol.msc (also valid for ultimate)
"Run the Local Security Policy app - secpol.msc
Go to Local Policies | Security Options and choose the “Network Security: LAN Manager Authentican Level” item
Set it to “Send LM & NLTM, use NTMLv2 session if negotiated”"

and

#2 is: regedit
1- Go in the “Execute command window” and type “regedit” and press “OK”, it will pop the Windows registery window.
2- Browse the this key: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\” and change the value for the option “LMCompatibilityLevel” from value 3 to a value 1.
