I'm new to the DNS-323 but familiar with several Linux-based UPnP solutions. The DNS-323 does not seem to sort tracks by album properly. It will properly sort tracks and group them as an album okay, but it does not present them to the UPnP renderer in the correct track listing order.
All of my tracks are properly tagged MP3's with both ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags. The files names are also named <N>. <T>.mp3 where <N> is the track number (with leading zero) and <T> is the track name.
Whenever I've used other UPnP servers (such as MediaTomb), the server is able to pull the track numbers from the ID3 information and present them to the renderer in the correct order.
Does the DNS-323 _require_ a .PLS/.M3U file? Is there anything I can do to have the DNS-323 present the tracks, sorted by album, sorted in the correct order?
