I'm kind of now and not sure how to compile one myself. DNS-323 firmware 1.07 doesn't come with nls_utf8 kernel module. I had a problem to mount a windows share on DNS-323 due to the missing utf8 support:
# mount -t cifs //windowspcname/sharename /mnt/sharename -o username=windows-login-name,password=windows-login-password,iocharset=utf8 mount: mounting \\windowspcname\sharename on /mnt/sharename failed: Can not access a needed shared library # dmesg CIFS VFS: CIFS mount error: iocharset utf8 not found
I was able to mount successfully without iocharset=utf8 option but then unable to read non-ascii character file names.
