Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Issue: fun_plug doesn't get activated upon the 323's boot-up.
Background: I updated the firmware from 1.05 to 1.06. At the time, I had a single drive, and all seemed to work fine. However, I didn't test telnet. I just accessed my files from my Mac and iTunes saw all the music.
Then I added a second hard drive using the 10 step process described here:

Upon rebooting the 323, I tried to telnet. No go. I then accessed the 323 via my Mac and noticed that Volume_2 held all the files. (This was unexpected since I followed the 10 step process, checking off each step as I went along.) So, I shut the 323 down, switched the drives location and rebooted. Now, all the files were on Volume_1. telnet sill didn't work, but all looked well with the web GUI. I then tried to ftp. Nope. So, I accessed the unit with the web GUI, and I found that ftp wasn't turned on which I corrected. Again, I checked all the stuff in the web GUI, but didn't notice anything unusual. Now, ftp is my only terminal access to the 323 on my username/password - root doesn't work. BTW, fun_plug is still there as is the ffp directory with the right permissions.
So, it appears that fun_plug is not getting executed upon the 323's boot-up. What do I need to do to correct the situation so fun_plug works?
TIA.
