hi ...
all functions on my brandnew DNS323 (firmware 1.07, Date 03/27/2009) working fine ... except the mail alerts
I tried two ways sending the alerts:
1. using "host_a" (external, not my local network)
the DNS323 is connecting to an existing email account at "host_a"
postfix on this external server logs:
Oct 21 22:56:06 n05 postfix/smtpd[20962]: connect from p54AD45C4.dip.t-dialin.net[84.173.69.196]
Oct 21 22:56:06 n05 postfix/smtpd[20962]: lost connection after EHLO from p54AD45C4.dip.t-dialin.net[84.173.69.196]
Oct 21 22:56:06 n05 postfix/smtpd[20962]: disconnect from p54AD45C4.dip.t-dialin.net[84.173.69.196]
monitoring the activity on the nas with shell command "top": nothing happens, no extra processes are shown
2. using "host_b" (in my local network, 192.168.1.60)
the DNS323 is connecting to "host_b", the postfix on this server is open, relaying anything
but: postfix on this external server logs nothing, there is no connection build from the nas to my local server host_b
but: shell command "top" shows these processes
17028 17026 root S 2184 4% 0% mutt -s nas_E-Mail_Alert receiver@domain2.tld

has anybody a hint how to solve this problem?
thanks in advance to all!
Stefan
