Cross compile ipv6

Hi!

I'm trying to compile the ipv6 module but with no luck. I would like to get my sixxs.net connection working on my nas.

I have a dns-323 B1 with the 1.07 firmare.

I have followed the how-to http://dns323.kood.org/howto:crosscompile to set up a cross compile environment with the firmware 1.06 tarball. I'm using virtualbox with a debian installation.

I have managed to create the environment and after that I use the crosstools-env.sh which I have change according to my paths.

Then it is time to get to work...

Code:

make oldconfig
make menuconfig (where I add ipv6 as a module)
make zImage
make modules
make modules_install

I get no errors while doing this but when I try to load the ipv6 module on my chrooted environment on my dns I get the following error

Code:

FATAL: Error inserting ipv6 (/lib/modules/2.6.12.6-arm1/kernel/net/ipv6/ipv6.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

And dmesg displays the following error.

Code:

ipv6: Unknown symbol secure_tcpv6_sequence_number
ipv6: Unknown symbol ipv6_skip_exthdr
ipv6: Unknown symbol secure_tcpv6_port_ephemeral
ipv6: Unknown symbol ipv6_ext_hdr

Is it possible to get ipv6 up and running on the dns 323? If someone could point me in the right way I would appreciate it!

Re: Cross compile ipv6

rensvind,
did you ever make any more progress on this?

As a very longshot I tried the ipv6.ko from:
http://dev.skcserver.de/dns323/modules_ … v6/ipv6.ko

I knew it was a pipe dream but the kernel versions did lineup. But it results in a lot of "ipv6: Unknown symbol...." in dmesg.
Any ideas?
