I noticed a lot of discussion around of this topic but could not find the absolute answer for this one. I have Dlink DNS 323 with default upnp server(latest firmware). It streams nicely my .VOB files to PS3 but i can't select subtitles. I'm mainly using .vob files so i moved my DVDs to DNS 323.

Seems that Twonky is used a lot to replace the default upnp server but will it really solve the problem, so if i install it, will i be able to choose the subtitles or at least setup in twonky the default subtitle language and it will work in PS3?

I also tried PS3 media server on my laptop and it worked nicely when .vob file was on local hard drive but PS3 says that content broken (can't remember exact words) when trying to stream through my laptop - DNS-323.

Anyway i installed twonky to DNS-323 and it went quite well but it dit not solve the subtitle problem at least by default. It also raised another issue that somehow there are now 2 audio tracks used at the same time e.g. english and french or some commentary.
...so conclusion is that for me the default upnp server worked much better but will continue anyway twonky tuning if it would solve the overall subtitle problem and twonky audio problem.
Anyway if there are any other experiences please share those or if you have noticed discussion around of this topic so that someone has solved the problem please add the link.
And i'm mainly interested about the DVD format because i have copied my DVDs to DNS-323.
