Did a search, but didn't find the answer I was looking for.
Just purchased a DNS-323 and added 2 x WD 1TB (WD10EADS) drives in RAID 1 config. Set it up on my network, no problem. Running 1Gbe on the NAS and on my MacPro. Network is a mixed sort of 100mb and 1Gbe devices.
Attach to the DNS-323 from the MacPro using SMB and started copying files. Get this error --> the operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (Error Code -51).
Any help would be appreciated. Just started poking around this forum. Don't know Linux but I'm fairly technical.

Do you know from what file size it starts failing?
One suspect is that you have a MTU issue due to the mix of Fast and GigaEthernet. The latter supports jumbo frames (big packets > 1500 bytes).
