I just changed my network IPs and of course DHCP settings on my router. When it came to the DNS-323, no problem, gave him his new static IP address and it was reachable.
Then I discovered that my notebook got an IP address out of the defined DHCP range. Using dhclient to renew the IP, I saw it got it from the DNS-323! Checking DNS-323 settings again, it showed that DHCP was off!
Restarting the DNS-323 solved the issue, DHCP was silent.
Even though the change of IP address works without restart, it seems its better to do a system restart.
