I successfully compiled and installed istatd—a server monitoring daemon that provides the backend for the iStat iPhone app:
http://bjango.com/apps/istat/
http://bjango.com/help/istat/istatserverlinux/
Everything works except for disk usage statistics. The conf file asks for mount paths or device names, and I've tried both /dev/md0 (I run JBOD) and /mnt/HD_a2 without success. Here is the output of df on my DNS-323:
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on rootfs 9911 7529 1870 80% / /dev/root 9911 7529 1870 80% / /dev/loop0 5760 5760 0 100% /sys/crfs /dev/md0 1440097532 1176665676 263431856 82% /mnt/HD_a2 /dev/sda4 497861 14 497847 0% /mnt/HD_a4 /dev/sdb4 497861 8 497853 0% /mnt/HD_b4
Am I missing something obvious, or is this perhaps a problem with the filesystem hooks istatd assumes during make? Thanks! If anyone wants any tips on compiling istatd, let me know.
