Hi, I wonder if anyone has ever seen this issue with the 323 before. Ive had it for 2 weeks and just had silly problems with it from the start.
Main issue is this. I try to upload data to it via ftp, all access is setup ok etc. I get connection and the data starts to upload, but randomly it errors and stops xfer "error, too many files open" Ive tried cuteftp, filezilla and windows copy (in ftp mode) and I get the same result. I get the error whether on my local network or via internet. If I reconnect it just starts again and then randomly will stop eventually.
I have upgraded to 1.03 firmware (oddly enough the easy search util doesnt work anymore, yes Ive downloaded the new version)
Ive logged this with dlink and they upped the issue to "level 2" support, who promptly told me it is a client issue and nothing is wrong with there product and then closed the case, errr thanks then.
Im sure its the unit as I run filezilla server on my pc and that works fine 100%, I just wanted to move the ftp server away from my pc and I now have a huge headache! If I copy data to it using normal windows copy I never get an error, its just when I use ftp.
Please, please can someone offer advise
