Hi
I've attached a powered USB SATA drive enclosure to the USB port of the DNS 323. When I turn the enclosue power on, the SATA drive spins up and then down after a second or two indicating no activitiy. When I issue the command:
insmod usb-storage.ko
The SATA drive spins up, as I would expect. Problem is, I can't seem to get it to power down again after it's been used. Even after a long period of "idle" time. After a umount, rmmod usb-storage etc I can see the module has been removed from the Kernel, but the drive is still powered up.
Any ideas how I could power the drive down automatically?
