We have installed an SSH key successfully many times on the 323, and the device keeps resetting it after just a few weeks. We have experienced this at least 5 times in the past few months.

Any clue?

if you didnt changed the homedir for root, it wont survive a reboot.

Are you saying the owner of Volume 1 should be root?

no, i am saying you have to change the homedir for the root user, because it defaults to a location on the ramdisk. Because of that, its content is lost when you reboot.

hi thanks for your pointers. I followed instructions. (I thought I had done this in the past by the way)

1-How can I test that my key will stay alive in the future?
2-Is there now any special instruction to creating an SSH Key?
