Noob question about UPnP

Hi, very new user of DNS-321 here. I installed the FFP package with SSH/Lighthttpd/PHP/MySQL but have some questions: I have a RAID-1 volume of 1.5 TB with about 180GB of mp3s on it. I enabled UPnP from within the D-Link GUI and it seems to refresh itself each night and it takes about 8 hours. Is this normal for the amount of media files that I have? Will Mediatomb behave in a similar fashion?

EDIT: I set up UPnP on the directory containing only my mp3 files.

Re: Noob question about UPnP

Can't help with the built in UPnP, but I use Twonky 4.4.18 which I have found to be the least memory hungry and that works fine.
