Getting this in my system log of my DNS323, but have no idea as what to check.?
Would appreciate some tips as where to start looking please.?
On FW 1.08.
TIA

It seemed to me that this was a bug in the beta firmware. I think if you go into the webmin page for fan control and set it to some other setting and 'save' it, then set it back to the desired setting of automatic fan speed regulation or whatever it was, then 'save' again and I think the fans will then slow down and work as they should after that point, but until you do this, they will just run at full speed all the time. I'm going based off memory here as I gave my DNS-323 to my mother 2 states away, and just ordered another one for me, but it has not arrived yet so I cannot install that firmware version and test this phenomenon at this moment. But try that, what I described, and I think that fixes that problem.

Cheers ojosch,
In searching for another problem I posted "TWSI error messages" I came across fanctl by fonz and installed that.
Since losing the TWSI errors I get a display on the web status screen of the temp, previously it was always 32F/0C.
Just tried a 'dmesg | grep fan' and nothing displayed.
Perhaps I should seek out the latest 1.8 FW and update as well.?
