has anyone an idea where to get a download manager for the DNS323 that allows to download files directly to the NAS?
i believe it needs: a windows program or firefox add on to grap the links and a "service" on the NAS to execute the downloads.
to copy a link and wget it by hand is really no fun.
cheers, t.

You could create an RSS feed, or just a file somewhere on your NAS, and add the URLs (1 per line) and then have a script that runs wget on any new lines (and deletes after it wgets them). I'm trying to think of a package or service already ported for the DNS-323 but I can't.
Just a thought

Since you want a windows client, why not just download with IE, firefox, FTP, etc then simply map a drive to the DNS323 and cut/paste?

thats what i do today, but i dont want to keep windows running until the download is finished.
i would envision a smiliar behavior as the transmission remote gui.
