Hard Links with DNS-323

I've been struggling with this for a while, is there a way to get hard links working with DNS-323?

Re: Hard Links with DNS-323

This is a linux-specific attribute, nothing to do with DNS323.  Since the DNS323 is running ARM Linux Kernel, hard links are supported by default.  What are you trying to do?

Keep in mind, anything on the RAM disk is deleted on reboot and forced back to stock.  So if I create a file at /home/root/test, it will be gone when I reboot.  Not sure if you're losing hard links because of this, but just throwing it out there.

Here's a quick hard-link explanation: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_do_uni … _work.html There are many others, probably better, out there but just start there to get a basic understanding.

Hope that helps
