reboot/halt commands same as using web UI?

I'm trying to work out if issuing the "reboot" and "halt" commands in a SSH session are the same as using the reboot and shutdown commands in the web UI?

I've not been able to find any information on the "/goform" stuff that the web UI forms submit to.

Basically, I want to issue a command to shutdown/restart the DNS-323 "safely" from within SSH.
