I ran the ps command on my DNS-323, and found this line:

/# ps -l wrote: wrote:
12893 root /sys/custom/upnp/upnp 0 D-Link Corporation http://www.redsonic.com D-Link Network Storage Enclosure DNS-323 103

If I try to go to www.redsonic.com, I get a Network Solutions page with the following:

Network Solutions page wrote:
redsonic.com expired on 05/18/2007 and is pending renewal or deletion.

What does this mean? Is this normal? Why do I have upnp linked/pointed to an external web address!

Nothing to sweat about. Redsonic was absorbed by another company (they write code). Looks like just something that hasn't been updated.
