Hey All,
I just finished going through the whole ordeal of buying/building the serial adapter and re-flashing my DNS-323 from Windows so I though I'd write a handy guide on how I did it. I couldn't find any straight forward way of doing it when I did it, so I ended up having to translate the tutorials from this site and cyrius.com to get it work. So I figured I'd save other people from the hassle.
