DSM-G600, DNS-3xx and NSA-220 Hack Forum

Just wondering what people are using on their NAS?

I got it a few days ago and thinking of flashing ALT-F since it has way more features then stock and you have way more control. But since its still beta i don't think its ready for a replacement just yet., which is why i like to ask my fellow DNS-323 owners.

Currently i have 1.10b7+Fun_Plug (W20EARS HDD ) and so far its alright, i didn't really test it all out just coping my data over right now.

Will the below work with ALT-F?

1.) NFS/SAMBA shares (for Boxee Box)
2.) Torrent downloader (using transmission 2.33 + Remote GUI)
3.) RAID1 and JBOD at the same time. Currently have a 2TB and 1.5TB in the NAS and Volume_1 is RAID1 @ 1.34TB and Volume_2 is JBOD @460GB
4.) Using external HDD to transfer data and unplug. Sometimes i get data on HDD that need to me moved to the NAS (FAT & NTFS)and right now i'm going to the PC to transfer which is painfully slow. I would like to plug it in and just use it and then just unplug. Currently its allot of work to mount and unmout and you have to remember to do it. I'm hoping ALT-F some how makes it easier maybe by using the webpage? rather then scripts. Scripts are fine for me but others in the house want plug and play.
