Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Hello,
Previously, on my dlink DNS-323 I had dlink firmware 1.09 and FFP 0.5. Everything was working fine.
I upgrade to Dlink firmware 1.10 and after to ffp 0.7 and now the printer refuses to print.
After some investigation with firmware 1.10 and ffp 0.7:
- If I go to “Tools/System/Defaults” and click “Restore To Factory Default Settings.” the printer works.
- After copying “fun_plug” and “fun_plug.tgz” and rebooting, the printer works.
- The printer stops to work after I run the script “store-passwd.sh”
PS: I have two 2 TB disk in RAID 1 configuration.

As soon the DNS-323 with firmware 1.10 restarted after copying fun_plug and fun_plug.tgz (0.5 or 0.7), the USB printer stops to work.

Yes, I have had this issue in and out with my tests.
The network/user permissions are conflicted, as there are 2 systems jockeying for access rights. I haven't had time to bother looking at specifics, but if you know what you're doing, start there.
I had to dump funplug for now until I have some time to start from scratch and see what the permanent solution is.
This is actually the reason I am looking at just going full Debian and ditching the DLink firmware altogether.
