Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I decided to upgrade my DNS-321 machine from 0.5 to 0.7 and am running into installation problems that I did not find referenced in the forum, hence this posting.
I downloaded fun_plug and fun_plug.tgz from Fonz's oabi directory onto Volume_1, rebooted and was able to telnet into the machine. I then synced up the oabi packages from the command prompt using
rsync -av inreto.de::dns323/fun-plug/0.7/oabi/packages
When I try to install any package installing funpkg, I get the following error message
gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
After some poking around, I discovered that the older funpkg script was still being executed instead of the newer binary version because of the way the search path was set up. Deleting the older version from ffp/sbin did the trick!
Hope this helps someone.
Thanks.
