I guess some people have to learn the hard way. I attempted to delete a few folders and wound up with a big problem. I'm running FFP 0.5 on Firmware 1.08 setup with Raid 1. This is the command I ran via SSH:
rm -rf 2012-*
I should have ran "rm -rf ./2012-*", but that's beside the point. I tried to cancel the deletion with ^C, when that failed I closed my SSH terminal window, when that failed I pushed the power button on the unit, when that failed to turn it off after several seconds I unplugged it.
Now, when I turn it back on, the main light around the power button never stops blinking. If I remove the drives, however, it boots normally and I am able to access the web config page. However, when the drives are loaded, it hangs. I can't turn it off with the power button and nothing works. So, my instinct is that I somehow compromised the ffp installation and not the firmware of the devise itself.
I tried the reset technique described here (http://dns323.kood.org/forum/viewtopic. … 837#p17837) with no effect. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get the unit working again?

Unless I am overseeing something does 'rm -rf 2012-*' exactly the same as 'rm -rf ./2012-*'.
On your problem: As far as I see you pulled the plug while the box was busy changing the filesystem, and that filesystem is ext2, so there is no journal. I guess the filesystem is damaged, and you have to run chkfs on it, using some Linux computer.

Mijzelf, thank you for your help, and I see now that you're correct. I'm still pretty new to linux. So, just to clarify, I need to remove the drives, attach them to a linux computer and run chkfs on each of them?

Well, I don't know how it happened, but it's working again. I'm chalking it up to a miracle. I plugged it back in after about 30 mins and it booted normally. My FFP environment, SSH access, and even my old crontab are all intact. Thank you very much for your help.
