i think the bug is hidden in incorrect installation of the fun-plug
have you a folder with the name fun_plug.d ?
and even the fun_plug includes a telnetserver in the /fun_plug.d/start/ folder with the name telnetd.sh
and it starts automaticly after correct installation of the fun_plug without a password

you could connect to by telnet IP-Adresse by terminal(mac) or cmd(win)

i´m not 100% sure but i think you should install fun_plug correctly
and this is the way
you download the funplug-0.3.tar
extract it and you have the fun_plug.tar and the fun_plug (unix-data)
than you copy it per ftp to your Volume_1
so
you sould have
Volume_1/fun_plug
Volume_1/fun_plug.tar


now you log into the webinterface and restart your nas-system

after it :
cmd
telnet ip
and you have to be inside

omg alter hast es denn immernoch nicht verstandn
du musst das funplug-0.3.tar einmal extrahieren dann kriegste 2 Dateien diese kopierst du per ftp ins root verzeichniss

extract the fucking funplug-0.3.tar like i have called it to you and than copy the 2 files in binary mode to the rootfolder of your nas

hm grml grml
geh mal auf cmd
dann ftp ip
und gib dann chmod 777 fun_plug
und restarte deine nas nochmal und teste dann nochmal

hm du kannst im nas webinterface einen ftp account erstellen
und denn nimmste dann zum einloggen her...

Schritte
1. unter advanced users nen user erstellen gruppe braucht er nicht kannste
aber wennst bock hast natürlich erst noch ne gruppe erstellen und dem user
dann noch ne gruppe hinzufügen
2. unter ftp server unten die zeile editieren das is das icon in der mitte vom apfeleimer und roten häckchen
dort änderst du dann die grundeinstellung von alle oder was da dorsten steht auf deinen vorhin angelegten user
und speicherst die änderung danach müsste alles funktionieren...

mal ne Frage zwischendurch welche Firmware nutzte denn gerade? Pitou11

welche permission hat fischer read only oder read and write der
braucht read and write und anonymous würd ich gleich mal löschen is nur n sicherheitsrisiko

auf dem Ding ist nichts drauf. Wenns läuft kümere ch mich um die Sicherheit. Möchte jemand den Zugang, ich weis nicht mehr weiter.

vielleicht mal ne Info die ich gerade noch bemerkt hab
und du vielleicht übersehn hast
telnet ist beim fun_plug bereits dabei und du musst es nicht mehr extra installiern also
einfach wie in comment #21 beschrieben diese Reihenfolge einhalten und dann mit telnet connectn
wobei du schon vorher siehst ob das fun_plug richtig installiert wurde wenn du dich
nachm reset einloggst und nen ordner mit dem namen fun_plug.d siehst...

Hi pitou11,

i think your problem is that your two files "fun_plug" and "fun_plug.tar" are not in the right directory.
It has to be in the directory "./mnt/HD_a2".  This is the first node in the directory tree which you
can select when creating a share with the DNS-323-Web-interface.

Please check that.
