Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I shutdown the DNS-323 to move it to a new location on the network. On reboot the
disks didn't spin up and no longer appeared as devices in the status
window of the web tool.
I have tried:
- rebooting.
- resetting the device with the reset button.
- restoring factory defaults.
- removing the disks, rebooting, replacing the disks and rebooting.
- swapping the two disks over to the other slot
- reloading firmware version 1.03
- upgrading to firmware version 1.04
The disks are still not recognised by the device.
I subsequently tested both disks in a separate SATA caddy, which I have verified works with another disk, and neither of the drives will spin up.
It would appear that in the shutting down and rebooting the NAS has broken both drives simultaneously.
Has anyone had a similar experience or advice?
