My network has a debian etch PC configured with a samba server wins (IP 192.168.0.2)
On the DNS-323 I have added to the file / etc/samba/smb.conf the following lines :
[Global]
wins server = 192.168.0.2
Question 1: is this modification permanent ? (reset/reboot of the NAS or update of a new firmware)
Question 2: is this line really usefull ?
