I have a DNS-323 fw 1.03 with fun_plug 1.3 installed.
I'd like to run a coninious ping from the box on startup.
After various posts on this forum and the wiki,
my first thought was that including the line 'ping 10.0.1.10' to the fun_plug file,
or adding an .sh file with the file.
However, I guess the command will not return and the box will hang on startup.
How do I launch the ping process so it continues running without hanging the box on startup?
I have no linux/unix experience at all.

Disconnect the ping from its terminal and send the command to background:
