Hi there,
after upgrading my XP system to Vista Home Premium I found that I can no longer mount any shares from my DNS-323 - except those which are not protected by username and password.
I browsed a while through the net and found some hints regarding the secpol.msc applet in Vista.
Unfortunately this is not on my computer and some more internet browsing turned out that secpol.msc is only part of the Business and Ultimate editions of Vista.
There seems to be an issue with vista and the samba version running on the DNS-323 (1.03b).
Is there any workaround known?
Anybody here accessing the DNS-323 from a Vista Home Premium client?
Cheers,

never mind,
I found the "LmCompatibilityLevel" setting in the registry.
It works now!

Just an FYI - the beta firmware 1.4 has an upgraded version of Samba which will support this.

Yep, I heard so.
But I read so many post of people reporting problems with the 1.4 beta, that I'm currently not willing to go there.
Maybe D-Link releases a final... somtimes...
