Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Since the G600 is using "Linux version 2.4.21-pre4", grabbed file for "ConferenceRoom 3.0 for Linux 2.4" which is at:
http://www.webmaster.com/products/cr3x/ … x24.tar.gz
Uploaded to its own folder, tried running ./install, get an error:
./install: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
Ok maybe it's not possible to run it but if it is, how do I get it setup?
If not ConfRoom (any version, preferred), then can any IRC servers be set up on it?
TIA.

this program is not open source, and is built for intel machines. you cannot use it on linux-ppc
any open source irc server (which is most all irc servers) should work

Drat. Well that stinks.
I saw an ircd download. Problem is, I don't know where to get the rest of the necessary/related files for it.

Read manuals, join mail-listing, test different stuff at yourself, make google work for you
