i'm trying to play movie and music files from dlink dns-313 but xbox360 just wont see it
did anyone got this to work? i set folders on 313 in windows media player and within windows i see them but 360 refuse to notice them
i have av server feature ticked on on 313 as well but i'm guessing this isn't compatible with xbox360?

ok i got some sort of solution, is not perfect because pc needs to be on but for me this is ok as i always have one pc on and finally i can use dns-313 as i planned

You might try mediatomb instead...i replaced the default uPnP Server from DLink with it because it was not working with my freecom mp3 players and it works like a charm. I think there is a compatibility switch for the xbox in the config but i might be in error. You can try Fonz Funplug 0.or the single distribution that i posted here in this forum sometime ago.( i would probably use funplug 0.5 now as it is uclibc based and uses much less memory than the package that i originally compiled). No need to keep the PC online all the time.
