Hi, my dns 313 has been working fine for the past few months since I bought it. But now I cannot connect to it any more. It has a static IP address and it shows up on my network but I cannot access the shared volume or the configuration pages. I can ping the IP address and I can connect to it via USB. It's almost like it's frozen when booting up as I cannot turn it off unless I unplug the power cord. It does shut down OK if it's connected via USB.
The only thing that I can think of that might have happened is that it had an ungraceful shutdown.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix the problem - also if I do a reset then will I have to format the drive again as it's been a while since I last backed it up?
Hope someone can help!!

Oh I forgot to mention that I am unable to connect via the Dlink Easy connect utility.
Thanks

Read http://dns323.kood.org/forum/p19873-200 … tml#p19873 . I ended up in formatting the drive, but don't know if it is necessary or not. Lukasz wrote about new DCC version, which might help. You could try that first without formatting the drive. I'll try it today on my 313 and report the results.
Edited: Still not working. Mine works exactly the same. USB mode works fine, even shutdown. On ethernet nothing works.
Installation by Vista failed, but worked with XP. I upgraded my OS after the first installation of 313, so this was new disappointment to me
