Group,
I found myself running out of space with my DNS-323, so I went out and got a DNS-343. I was thinking that since both devices are made by D-Link and both are almost the same hardware that this would be a relatively simple upgrade. I have my device configured as 'Standard "Separate Drives"'
My Plan:
Turn of the 323, remove the drives, place them into the 343, turn on the 343 and life would be good
The Reality:
As soon as I turn on the 343 with the drives in them, I then point my web browser to the 343 and get a very nice prompt telling me that I need to reformat my drives before they will be available.
Does anyone know how to hack the 343 so I do not have to reformat my drives?
Any help would be appreciated. I cannot telnet into the device with the default firmware, and there does not appear to be any custom firmware that allows telnet access.

I inserted only one of my 1TB drives into the top-slot of the 343. I believe this disk has previously been volume_1 of the 323. I have not tried inserting more than one disk. I will try this to see if there are any changes.
