Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Hi, I've recently moved from the DNS-323 to the DNS-343 and having trouble getting Fun_Plug working correctly. It appears the path is not working very well, but I'm using the same environment as on the DNS-323. Anybody else having similar struggles? Here is some info:
/mnt/HD_a2 # ipkg
/ffp/bin/sh: ipkg: not found
/mnt/HD_a2 # which ipkg
/opt/bin/ipkg
/mnt/HD_a2 # ls /opt/bin/ipkg
/opt/bin/ipkg
/mnt/HD_a2 #
/mnt/HD_a2 # echo $PATH
/opt/bin:/opt/sbin:/ffp/sbin:/ffp/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/bin
/mnt/HD_a2 #
This is after setting the PATH variable every time I reboot.
Best Regards, Phil.

Thank you Fonz! Do you know of a 4 bay NAS that does work with funplug and optware?

Thank you Fonz! This is helpful. Once I understood that ffp works on the DNS-343 but not optware, then I downloaded python2.5 from http://81.216.140.39/dns-323/denyhosts/ and pyTivo ran fine, which was my ultimate goal.
BTW, Funplug is the greatest thing since sliced bread--very cool! pyTivo is perhaps the second greatest thing--they both open up some possiblities--thanks for all your work!
Best Regards, Phil.
