Hi all,
Sorry in advance if this question is either totally inappropriate for this forum or dead easy for someone who knows what they are talking about, but...I don't and that's why I'm here.
I've just recently bought a DNS-313 to operate as a home NAS for backups and to serve as an iTunes server.
I was hoping to create separate partitions so that I minimise any risk of data corruption etc. but I'm struggling to find how to do this, or even if it's worth the hassle.
I'm accessing it from a MacBook, primarily using wireless access (for the server) but for backups (especially the initial) it will be wired.
Would this be recommended and if so are there pointers on where to get started?
Thanks
