Ok it's the old topic of "My 360 can't see the upnp av" but I have just updated to the new firmware "1.03b04_v2" from the dlink site(Which now states xbox 360 support).
I presumed the 360 would just start seeing it as a computer on the network but it still can't see it.
There is a good chance that ive just missed something really stupid but can anyone give me any pointers?
Thanks for any help

The UPnPAV server in DNS-313 does still not support Xbox 360 as for firmware 1.03b04. However the latest firmware for DNS-323 was implented with xbox 360 support. Unfair deal.
I installed twonky media server and that solved it.

Hi
You've put Twonky on the 313?
Is it easy, any step by step guide anywhere?
cheers

not correct, the xbox360 works fine with the DNS-313. Seen the installation procedure as mentionned by killerbeenl.
Cheers,

This might be applicable.... but make sure your NAS ip address doesn't have a "0" in it. There is a bug with XBOX360 support with that.... It's weird, and the bug notes were in a different fw release notes (for the 343 1.03b66 notes)
